PARENT AGREEMENT POLICIES
1. Participation Acknowledgement
I understand that my child is voluntarily participating in the Spring Break Spotlight Camp at Drop The Mic Karaoke. Activities include singing, microphone use, stage movement, group activities, and performance rehearsals.
While these activities are generally low-risk, I acknowledge that participation involves normal physical movement and interaction with equipment and other participants.
I certify that my child is physically able to participate in the activities associated with this workshop.
2. Supervision & Drop-Off Policy
By registering my child, I acknowledge and agree that:
• I am responsible for ensuring my child arrives on time and is picked up promptly at the end of each session.
• Drop The Mic Karaoke and its facilitators are responsible for supervising participants only during official camp hours (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
• Parents/guardians may drop-off their child or wait onsite for the workshop. Parents must remain reachable by phone during the workshop.
• If a child requires early pickup due to behavior, illness, or safety concerns, the parent/guardian agrees to retrieve the child promptly when contacted.
3. Responsibility for Equipment Damage
Drop The Mic Karaoke provides microphones, audio equipment, stage equipment, and other materials for use during the workshop.
Parents/guardians acknowledge that these items are professional equipment.
By registering my child for this workshop, I understand and agree that:
• I am financially responsible for any damage caused by my child due to misuse, negligence, or intentional behavior.
• If damage occurs, Drop The Mic Karaoke will notify the parent/guardian and provide documentation of repair or replacement costs.
• As the parent/guardian I agree to reimburse Drop The Mic Karaoke for reasonable repair or replacement costs within 30 days of notification.
Normal wear and tear or accidental minor incidents will be handled at the discretion of Drop The Mic Karaoke staff.
4. Behavior Expectations
To maintain a safe and supportive environment, all participants are expected to:
• Treat other campers, instructors, and staff with respect
• Follow facilitator instructions
• Handle equipment carefully
• Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere
If a participant displays repeated disruptive or unsafe behavior, Drop The Mic Karaoke reserves the right to remove the participant from the program. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
5. Payment Policy (Non-Refundable)
All workshop registrations are non-refundable.
Because space is limited and reserved specifically for each participant, payments cannot be refunded due to:
• Scheduling conflicts
• Illness
• Change of plans
• Missed sessions
In rare circumstances, Drop The Mic Karaoke may allow a credit toward a future program, but this is not guaranteed and is issued solely at the discretion of management.
6. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency where I cannot be reached, I authorize Drop The Mic Karaoke staff to obtain necessary medical treatment for my child.
I understand that any medical expenses incurred will be my responsibility.

7. Photo & Media Release
During camp and the showcase, photos and videos may be taken for promotional or marketing purposes.
By registering my child for this workshop, I grant Drop The Mic Karaoke permission to use photos or video footage of my child for:
• Social media
• Website content
• Promotional materials
• Future camp marketing
No personal identifying information beyond first name and age group will be used without additional consent.
8. Liability Waiver
I understand that Drop The Mic Karaoke, its owners, employees, contractors, and facilitators are not responsible for injuries, accidents, lost belongings, or other incidents that may occur during the normal course of workshop activities.
By registering my child for this workshop, I release and hold harmless Drop The Mic Karaoke and its staff from liability for injuries or damages arising from participation.
